Emergency Contact Information

During office hours, call (318) 949-9878 for help.

After 5 PM on weekdays and during weekends, if you have been seen by us in the last 3 years and are experiencing a dental emergency (pain or facial swelling) please call one of our numbers listed below to leave a message on the answering service for a call back. Please do not call during business hours, as it will result in a delayed response, as we are actively working with patients and not monitoring the emergency line.

If you cannot wait on a return call from Dr. House, or are not an established patient that has been seen within the last 3 years, please proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room for care.
Dr. Ike House (318) 459-8084
Dr. Brittany House (318) 935-0564

Tooth knocked out??

Call us as soon as it happens! There is a limited amount of time a permanent tooth can be replaced into its socket without the body rejecting it. Because it is such a time sensitive emergency, head towards our office and give us a call at the same time! We will make every effort to be there for you.
  • Do NOT clean the tooth. When touching it, try your best to touch it only by the crown portion, not the root.
  • Transport the tooth in Hank's solution, Save-A-Tooth Preservation Kit, milk, or salt water. DO NOT use plain tap water or saliva unless that is your only option, because it does not keep the tooth at a close enough pH.
  • We may give further instructions to manage your emergency over the phone.
  • If the tooth is a primary, or baby, tooth, do not worry about replacing it. If the tooth has become impacted, or pressed inwardly, we will evaluate the tooth to see if it needs to be removed so that it does not damage the permanent tooth underneath.
